These striking Bourgie Lamp table lamps were designed in 2003 by Italian designer Ferruccio Laviani for Milan-based Kartell. Inspired by Bourgie, Bourgie, the design playfully juxtaposes baroque form with modern materiality.
Molded in glossy, batch-dyed black polycarbonate, each lamp features a pleated shade over a sculptural, baroque-style base—its ornate silhouette cheekily rendered in plastic. Plug-in with dimmer switches; 120v. From the collection of Frances and Gary Comer.
